Most people live their entire lives without seeing the Milky Way with their own eyes. At Novae Glamp, on a clear night, you can count thousands of stars — no telescope needed. This is what we built everything around.
Over 80% of the world's population lives under light-polluted skies. The Milky Way is invisible to them. You are probably one of them. Not because you don't want to see it.
Novae Glamp was built at a location specifically chosen for its minimal light pollution and wide open horizon. On a new moon night here, you won't count stars — you'll lose count. The sky becomes a presence you feel, not just observe.
Guests who have never seen a truly dark sky describe it as one of the most overwhelming, humbling experiences of their lives. We've witnessed it hundreds of times. It never gets ordinary.
Stargazing is one of the few activities that makes the phone irrelevant without anyone asking you to put it down. You just forget it's there.
Something about looking at a sky full of stars makes people talk differently. More openly. More meaningfully. We call it the Novae effect.
You don't need to fly to Ladakh. Bhuvanagiri — 30 km from Hyderabad — has some of the darkest accessible skies in South India. Novae Glamp sits inside it.
Our guides have mapped the sky as it appears from Novae Glamp across every season.
The Hunter — Orion Major
One of the night sky's most recognisable figures — the three-star belt, the Orion Nebula glowing faintly beneath it. Spectacular through binoculars from Novae.
Best: Nov — FebThe Ringed Giant
Through our telescope, Saturn's rings are clearly visible — one of the most emotionally impactful sights in astronomy. Guests frequently go speechless at this view.
Best: Jun — OctThe Evening Star
Unmistakably brilliant in the western sky after sunset - Venus outshines every star and is often the first "star" guests spot each evening. Through our telescope, its crescent phase reveals it's a world, not a point of light, surprising most first-time viewers.
Best: Feb — OctThe Gas Giant
Jupiter's four Galilean moons — Io, Europa, Ganymede, Callisto — are visible through our telescope, lined up like tiny pearls beside the planet.
Best: Aug — DecAugust Meteor Shower
Up to 100 meteors per hour at peak. Novae Glamp organises special watch events during the Perseids — lying on mats under a sky that's actively falling.
Peak: Aug 12–13 each yearSeven Sisters — M45
An open star cluster of over 800 stars. With the naked eye you see six or seven — through a telescope, hundreds emerge wrapped in faint blue nebulosity.
Best: Oct — MarFrom arrival to dawn — a carefully designed flow that builds toward the sky.
You're welcomed at the Bali-themed entrance and briefed on the night ahead. Your tent is ready; the property is yours to explore. Eyes begin adjusting to the absence of city light.
Meals at Novae happen in the dome dining space or at open-air tables. As you eat, the sky deepens. Stars begin appearing one by one — then all at once.
After the guided session, the sky is yours. Lie on the mats, photograph with long exposure, count shooting stars. This is the time guests remember most.
Early risers are rewarded. A guided nature walk, the slow arrival of colour in the sky, and safe solar observation through a filtered telescope.
This introductory session is designed for anyone curious about the universe. Participants will explore the fundamentals of astronomy, understand how the night sky works, learn about celestial objects, and discover how astronomers observe the cosmos. No prior knowledge is required.
The telescope opens up a different universe — Saturn's rings in sharp definition, Jupiter's moons as individual dots, the Moon's craters so close they feel touchable.
The bonfire pulls people together. Music, stories, woodsmoke. Conversations that wouldn't happen in daylight. The sky is still above you. You're in no hurry to leave.
A full breakfast before you leave. Most guests report feeling deeply rested — not because they slept a lot, but because they genuinely disconnected.
We've invested in professional-grade equipment to ensure every guest sees the sky in full detail — not as a blur, but as something that takes your breath away.
Reveals Saturn's rings, Jupiter's bands, lunar craters, and deep sky objects at up to 180× magnification.
Custom constellation maps for this exact latitude and season. Red-light torches preserve night vision during sessions.
Manual settings guidance for capturing star trails, Milky Way shots, and moon photography — no specialist gear needed.
Dedicated zone away from all structures — mats laid out, full 360° horizon access, zero light interference.
We plan special overnight events around nature's most spectacular celestial shows. These nights sell out fast.
Peak meteor shower night — up to 100+ meteors per hour. Ground mats, expert briefing, stay up until 3 AM together.
★ Most AnticipatedIntense bursts of fast, bright meteors. Intimate watch event with smaller groups for a more personal experience.
Limited CapacityRichest shower of the year — up to 120 per hour, with unusually bright fireballs. One of the warmest nights to watch from Telangana.
Family FriendlySilver-lit landscape, moonrise over the horizon. Includes sound healing and outdoor meditation session.
Couples & WellnessOur darkest and most spectacular nights. No moonlight — just thousands of stars, the Milky Way's full arch, and complete silence.
Astronomers' PickWhen Jupiter, Saturn and Mars align in the same part of the sky, we plan special telescope nights with extended viewing hours.
★ Expert GuidedThe galactic centre is highest in the summer sky — the richest, most dense part of the Milky Way directly overhead.
Photography SpecialBook a private guided session for your group on any clear night. Fully personalised to your group's interests and size.
Book in AdvanceLight pollution has erased the night sky for most of the world's population. The galaxy we live inside is invisible from most cities — including Hyderabad. Bhuvanagiri is different.
The Bortle Scale measures light pollution from 1 (darkest) to 9 (city centre). At Bortle 4, the Milky Way is clearly visible and thousands of stars are countable by naked eye.
From a Bortle 9 city, you see perhaps 200 stars. From Novae Glamp on a clear new moon night, you can see over 6,500 with the naked eye alone.
The sky at Novae Glamp is remarkable year-round, but some nights are genuinely transcendent. Here's what affects what you'll see.
If cloud cover prevents stargazing, we offer alternative evening activities — bonfire, sound healing, astronomy workshop — and the option to reschedule at no extra cost.
The most common thing guests say after a Novae night isn't about the tents or the food. It's about the sky.
"I genuinely did not expect to cry looking at stars. But watching the Milky Way stretch across the entire sky — my family stood in silence for almost 10 minutes. Nobody wanted to speak."
"Our team outing was supposed to be a quick getaway. We ended up staying up until 2 AM — first talking about the stars, then about everything else. The sky broke our barriers."
"I proposed to her under the Milky Way at 11:30 PM. The guide had quietly stepped away. The stars were doing all the work. She said yes."
"I've been to dark sky sites in Rajasthan and Ladakh. Novae Glamp gives you a comparable sky with none of the travel. 30 km from Hyderabad and I saw Saturn's rings. Legitimately incredible."
"45 students. The kids who never stop talking — completely silent during the stargazing session. Three students said they want to study astrophysics now."

Far enough for the sky to open up completely. Close enough for a spontaneous weekend decision.
